YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

Cloud Climber Privacy Policy

What information the game saves on your device, how third-party advertising works, and how to manage your privacy choices.

Last updated and effective: October 12, 2026 · Inque Labs

At a glance: Cloud Climber is an offline-first balloon game with on-device progress. Third-party Google AdMob advertisements may process technical, advertising and interaction data. No game account is required.

1. About this policy

Cloud Climber ("App") is an Android game published by Inque Labs ("we", "our"), Android package com.cloudclimber.play. This policy describes the app's data handling based on its current configuration, including on-device gameplay and third-party Google advertising.

Playing does not require an account, a login, or providing your name, email address, phone number or payment details to Inque Labs. We do not operate a Cloud Climber player-profile or online progress database.

2. Information stored on your device

The App uses react-native-mmkv to store app-private local records, including:

  • Best altitude, high scores and number of runs.
  • Earned in-game coins and reward balances.
  • Unlocked and selected hot-air balloon skins.
  • Audio, haptic, personalized-ad and other preferences.
  • Daily reward claim timestamps and some ad-frequency tracking values.

These records help you resume play and keep your preferred settings. They are not uploaded to an Inque Labs gameplay server. The current Android manifest disables operating-system backup (allowBackup="false"). Although app-private, the current MMKV initialization does not specify an encryption key, so we do not claim that all saved records are encrypted by the App.

3. Google AdMob and data sharing

Cloud Climber integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), including adaptive banner ads, optional rewarded ads for certain game benefits, and occasional interstitial ads between sessions. Ad availability and format can vary.

Google and its advertising partners may receive or process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), advertising identifiers where permitted, app and device information, ad views/clicks/completions, and SDK performance or diagnostic information. This can be used for serving and measuring ads, limiting fraud, maintaining service security, and other purposes under Google's policies. Inque Labs does not sell local progress data or run its own advertising-profile server.

5. Permissions

Android permissionReason
INTERNETAdMob, consent communication and the privacy-policy WebView.
VIBRATEOptional haptic or vibration feedback.
AD_IDAndroid advertising identifier where permitted and available.

The current main Android manifest does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise device location permissions. SDK dependencies may contribute additional permissions to the final merged Android manifest, which should be verified for release.

6. Children's privacy

The App does not ask players for their age or direct personal contact information to play. However, integrated ad services may process data as described above. The publisher must configure advertising and Google Play target-audience declarations appropriately. If children are included in the target audience, additional applicable Families and children's privacy requirements must be met. The maximum ad content rating alone does not establish full compliance.

7. Retention and deletion

Local saved data normally remains until you change or clear it. Flight Settings → Reset Altitude resets the best-flight score, but not all stored preferences or purchases made using in-game currency. To remove all local app records on Android, use Settings → Apps → Cloud Climber → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the App. Android menu names differ by device.

Ad-related information held independently by Google or its partners is subject to their own data retention and deletion policies. Clearing local app data does not necessarily delete third-party records already collected.

8. Data security

Gameplay data is kept within Android's app-private storage rather than in a Cloud Climber account. The privacy webpage is intended to be served securely over HTTPS. Google controls the security of the data its services process. We use reasonable measures for information we control, but no electronic storage or transmission is guaranteed fully secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain uses of your personal data, withdraw consent, or contact a privacy regulator. Contact Inque Labs for requests concerning information under our control. Google's services have separate privacy controls and procedures for data they hold. You may also adjust your device advertising settings.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when App features, integrated SDKs or relevant privacy practices change. Changes will appear here with an updated effective date.
